..As for the Solatube itself, it has absolutely transformed our family room. Before it was dark all the time, as we have shutters on the windows which block much of the incoming light and we also have an all seasons room on the back side of our house which darkens things as well. Now, we have a well lit, very pleasant, much more livable family room and we could not be happier. We should have done this a long time ago!
